SUMMARY:

Routine maintenance is critical to ensuring optimal performance and security of your Shorecrest iPad.  This short tutorial provides step-by-step instructions for updating a Shorecrest issued device to iOS 15.2. At the time of publication, iOS 15.2 is the most recent version that has been certified by the Shorecrest Technology Department.

 

INTENDED AUDIENCE: 

  • Shorecrest students and families
  • Shorecrest faculty and staff

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Shorecrest issued iOS device
  • iPad Power Supply and charging cable
  • Internet connection

 

IMPORTANT:

You battery must be at least 60 percent charged or connected to a charger at the time of update. You are strongly encouraged to connect your iPad to a charger for the entire process as the update can take up to 45-60 minutes to complete, depending on your Internet connection speed.

 

VERIFY NOTABILITY SYNC AND BACKUP SETTINGS:

Follow the steps outlined in the slide show below to verify your Notability app data is being backed up:
