SUMMARY:

At the time of writing (February 2022), Cisco is retiring Webex Meetings and is combining the functionality of the Webex and Webex Meetings desktop application. When users click the "Update now"  in Webex Meetings, The new Webex application is installed and Webex Meetings is removed. This can be confusing for end-users as the new Webex application removes Webex Meetings and has a significantly different look and feel. 

Below is a graphic shown to illustrate the product and graphic icon evolution over the past two years and may help identify which products are currently installed on your macOS device.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Shorecrest Account Credentials
  • Shorecrest macOS device w/Internet Connectivity
  • Webex Meeting Desktop or Webex Desktop application installed

NOTE: Webex can be installed from the Shorecrest Self Service Portal or downloaded directly from here.
